1. Department of Landscape Architecture at The University of Sheffield – Logo (2014–2020) Process: At its most abstract and minimalist, landscape architecture is about manipulating and structuring space. The negative space between the shapes in the logo is intentionally manipulated to define the landscape. The design has a ‘wild’ aesthetic, reflecting the hands-on nature of landscape architecture. The logo communicates the department’s creative, non-linear side. Seven abstract shapes represent Sheffield’s seven hills.
2. 2015 Exhibition Landscape – Merging in to the Landscape
I was responsible for the design concept, execution, format choice, output and setup of the annual student work exhibition. Output included postcards, flyers, posters, signage, web and email promos as well as large format floor and window vinyl stickers. The example above uses heads of the students exhibiting work, each head was blended into various Sheffield landscapes and flora.

3. Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield – Flower
This years brand ID was the first time students were split in to thematic groups that focused on different strands of Landscape Architecture. I created a 'flower' showcasing earlier work of the students from each group. I gave each a colour and used the slash that separated the 2 themes associated with that group as a key graphic that unified the design.

4. Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield – Contours
A play on the earlier head concept – Vector terrain lines are being put together piece by piece to form a student's outline, my take on it is that it symbolises their transition to becoming fully qualified Landscape Architect.
